Ceradan® Skin Barrier Repair Cream is a scientifically formulated ceramide-dominant moisturiser in 3:1:1 ratio of essential skin lipids (ceramide, cholesterol, free fatty acids) for eczema-prone, dry and sensitive skin. It intensively hydrates and is clinically proven to rebuild the skin’s protective barrier by replacing the missing ceramide in the skin. Ceramide is a key lipid that is naturally present in a specific ratio with other essential lipids, cholesterol and free fatty acids, in our skin. An imbalance or lack of these lipids, especially ceramide, leads to a compromised skin barrier. A damaged skin barrier means that the skin’s defences are compromised and this predisposes skin to the entry of harmful bacteria and irritants, leading to inflammation, itchy, dry and flaky skin.
