Ceradan® Hydra Moisturiser is a hydrating, light-textured moisturiser enriched with ceramide-dominant essential skin lipids and sodium hyaluronate to boost skin hydration and retain moisture, in addition to maintaining skin''s protective barrier. Ceramide is a key lipid that is naturally present in a specific ratio with other essential lipids, cholesterol and free fatty acids, in our skin. An imbalance or lack of these lipids, especially ceramide, leads to a compromised skin barrier. A damaged skin barrier means that the skin’s defences are compromised and this predisposes skin to the entry of harmful bacteria and irritants, leading to inflammation, itchy, dry and flaky skin. Whilst it is important to contain ceramide, not all moisturizers contain the optimal 3:1:1 ratio scientifically proven for skin barrier repair. Ceradan® Hydra Moisturiser, with an optimal 3:1:1 ratio of essential skin lipids (ceramide, cholesterol, free fatty acids), is able to retain most moisture in the skin for intensive hydration and maintain skin''s protective barrier, which is important even during remission phase in eczema-prone skin. It is also enriched with sodium hyaluronate which helps to attract moisture into skin cells to increase skin hydration and reduce dry and flaky skin. As a hydrating light-textured moisturiser, it allows for easy application when used as daily maintenance during remission in eczema-prone skin. Suitable for all age groups and skin types, including eczema-prone, dry and sensitive skin.
