UrgoStart Plus Pad is a pad dressing formulated for patients at risk of delayed wound healing. These can include patients with diabetes, vasuclar problems, reduced mobility or older patients. The TLC - NOSF Healing Matrix helps to heal and close the wound sooner by regulating matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) levels on the wound bed, excess of which leads to delayed wound healing. The healing matrix also maintains a moist wound environment optimal to healing, allowing pain free removal during dressing changes. The poly absorbent fibers trap slough and absorbs exudate, keeping a clean wound free of wound debris. The UrgoStart Treatment range is also the first and only dressings to be recommended by the International Working Group for Diabetic Foot (IWGDF) for diabetic foot wounds due to the presence of Sucrose Octasulfate (NOSF) in the dressing.

Product Directions:

Product can be cut to fit various wound shapes and depths, and can be combined with other secondary dressings to manage higher exudate levels if necessary. Requires securing. Change dressing every 7 days or as per required.
