PRIMAPORE Dressings consist of an absorbent pad with an adhesive border, which conforms to aswkward areas. PRIMAPORE Adhesive Non-Woven Wound Dressing is an absorbent post-operative dressing designed to help with the management of exudate. Designed to have a low adherent wound contact layer and an absorbent pad to help manage exudate effectively. Product Directions: 1. Wash hands before and after treating the wound. 2. Gently clean and dry the wound and surrounding skin. Any excess hair should be clipped to ensure close approximation to the wound. Stop any bleeding (apply gentle pressure if necessary) and ensure htat the skin is completely dry around the wound. 3. Remove dressing from the pouch. Do not cut the dressing. 4. Remove the top half of the backing paper. 5. Remove the second half of the backing paper and smooth the dressing down, without stretching, ensuring the pad fully covers the wound. 6. Remove carefully, particularly with elderly or fragile skin. Support skin with free hand whilst gently peeling dressing away in direction of hair growth.
