Panadol Extend are caplets formulated with a bi-layer technology designed to provide effective relief of persistent muscle & joint pains associated with osteoarthritis symptoms. The caplets are designed to release paracetamol in two phases. Hold on to your Panadol Extend Caplets at all times, as they will help relieve the pain associated with osteoarthritis. Panadol Extend Caplets controlled-release technology is specially designed so the combination of immediate and sustained release of paracetamol provides prompt pain relief that can last up to 8 hours. Each caplet contains 665mg of paracetamol. Caplets are oval-shaped and film-coated, which makes them easy to swallow. The Panadol Extend Caplets are also suitable for people with ulcers. Sustained-release Panadol Extend provides optimal paracetamol relief if taken in three daily doses of 2 caplets every 6 to 8 hours, as each dose offers pain relief from osteoarthritis symptoms that lasts up to 33% longer than standard paracetamol tablets. Round-the-clock pain relief will help keep you mobile and active. While the quick-release layer ensures around 40% of paracetamol is released within the first 15 minutes upon taking the dose, the sustained-release layer is released in the next 3 hours, maintaining therapeutic plasma levels of paracetamol for up to 8 hours. For the best use, take a whole Panadol Extend Caplet and swallow with water. For 24-hour relief of joint pain or pain associated with osteoarthritis, use one dose of 2 caplets every 6 to 8 hours. Take no more than a maximum of 6 caplets in 24 hours. Always read the label before use. Directions: For oral administration only.
