    Mepitac is designed for fixation of medical devices such as drains, tubes, probes, electrodes, IV cannulae and dressings. In addition, Mepitac offers gentle skin protection when used under devices e.g. tubes.

    How product works
    Mepitac can be used by lay persons under supervision of health care professionals.
    Make sure the skin is clean and dry and free from any ointment etc.
    Cut off the desired length of tape using scissors.
    Remove the protective release film and apply Mepitac without stretching.
    If inspection or re-positioning is necessary, Mepitac can be lifted and re-applied.
    The change interval is dependent on skin condition, change Mepitac when adhesion properties are no longer sufficient.

    Precautions
    The adhesion of Mepitac may decrease when used in humid condition such as incubators or on patients who have a fever or perspire a lot. Do not reuse. If reused performance of the product may deteriorate, cross contamination may occur. Do not use Mepitac on patient and/or user with known hypersensitivity to the ingoing materials/components of the product. Warnings Mepitac is not intended for fixation of life-saving and life-sustaining devices.
