Sore throat? Hit it hard and early with Difflam

Sore throats are a common occurrence linked to pain, scratchiness and irritation of the throat. Many of us are familiar with the hassle of dealing with a sore throat, especially when it sticks around for longer than expected.

Sore throats are usually caused by viral infections, bacterial illnesses, or environmental irritants. While most cases typically resolve within a week, the discomfort that a sore throat brings can be distressing, impacting your daily activities and well-being. Thankfully, we have many avenues to find some welcome relief, such as Difflam.

    Difflam with Benzydamine
Difflam is a widely recognised brand with over 50 years of clinical experience in sore throat management. Many of its products contain benzydamine, an ingredient that is widely used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation.

The benefits of Difflam’s benzydamine can be summarised with three A’s:
Anti-inflammatory: Benzydamine reduces inflammation, which are causes of sore throat pain.
Analgesic: Benzydamine relieves pain for sore throat, which helps to ease swallowing and speaking.
Anaesthetic: Benzydamine provides fast, local numbing effect for sore throats.

Beyond these three A’s, benzydamine is ideal for topical application as it can be absorbed by oral mucosa, binding with the inflamed tissues in our throat to reduce pain. It also has a well-established safety profile: for your peace of mind, benzydamine is easy on the stomach with no known drug interactions.2-5

    Difflam Lozenges: For Hassle-Free Relief
Difflam Anti-Inflammatory & Anti-Bacterial Lozenges don’t just help soothe pain, but also have the added antibacterial benefit of killing germs which cause sore throats.
These lozenges can provide fast relief from the pain, swelling and redness of sore throats, mouth conditions such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and mouth ulcers, as well as pain after dental procedures and mouth and throat surgeries.

Because Difflam lozenges dissolve slowly in the mouth, the lozenges are able to deliver a steady stream of benzydamine while increasing the moisture in your mouth for added relief. These lozenges can be taken one at a time every 1 to 2 hours. They are available in 3 flavours: Honey & Lemon, Raspberry, and Eucalyptus & Menthol.

Difflam Throat Sprays: For Targeted Care
Difflam Forte Throat Spray offers fast-acting relief from painful swollen throat and mouth conditions.7 Whether it's due to a sore throat, tonsillitis, mouth ulcers, post-oral surgery, or radiation mucositis, this throat spray is formulated to help alleviate discomfort effectively.

Difflam Forte Throat Spray can reduce swelling and pain to provide relief in as little as 60 seconds11. Thanks to its long nozzle, it is able to deliver relief directly to hard-to-reach areas, such as the back of the throat. This allows the benzydamine to work on the affected area. In addition to its convenient on-the-go size, this throat spray also comes in a child-friendly variant, so both adults and children can manage their pain directly and easily.

Difflam Herbal Mouth Spray, a herbal variant, is formulated to be soothing and cooling with 7 natural extracts, such as Propolis and Echinacea. These extracts contain anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral properties that support and enhance your natural immune defences.8-10 This herbal mouth spray can be used daily, and it is also suitable for the whole family.
